As I sat in the wicker chair on my patio worrying about tomorrow’s Memorial service for my grandfather, I noticed a ray of sunshine peeking through the fence. The sun was beginning to drop behind the mountains and it was casting it’s final glow over the valley. I stared at that one streak of light as it illuminated the flowers along the fence and realized that today I didn’t have to worry about tomorrow. I was able to capture that moment and frame it. When I look at this picture it reminds me of the moment that I learned to live for today.
