Everything is not enough to temper the gargantuan greed of the conceited man.
He does not want for material things
Rather praise his name and you shall be his queen.
Upon his throne he will lay out his plan,
Cleverly devised as concern,
of which he has no capacity to feel.
Not wanting the world for his own,
But instead the subjects within it
For he has something to offer them all,
And they,
nothing to offer him,
but devotion and loyalty.
A leader of all things and a follower of none.
He feigns fairness and graciousness behind a seductive smile that warms the coldest heart.
He believes he has won himself a place at the gates of heaven
And when no man bows before him in his glorious end,
And the darkness comes ever closer,
The cry of a lonely man fills the silence.
